The standard buffing machine is designed to rasp 14” to 24.5” tyre casings  (including 445/65 R 22.5”):

Tyre casing O.D.: Max 49” 1250 mm. - Min 24” 600 mm.

Tyre casing section: Max 20” 500 mm. - Min 6” 150 mm.

Buffing radius: Max  49” 1250 mm. - Min 14” 350 mm.

Buffing radius selection.

• Mechanical scale to check the  buffing angle on the tyre shoulders (trimming angle).
• Mechanical circumference measuring device.
• 25 hp rasp motor. 3 hp tyre rotation motor.
• Blade cooling system

ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE ON REQUEST:

• “BEC 90”  steel belt sensor to prevent steel belt exposure and damage.
• 2 HP manual buffing/brushing arm.
• Hand-wheel controlled laser positioner  for crown area.
